Devotional Text: “Jesus said to them, ‘Fill the jars with water,’ and they filled them to the brim.” (John 2:7) Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave His disciples an important commission: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel!” Why did He do this? Wasn’t it risky to entrust the spread of His kingdom to a few fishermen? And yet, this is precisely God’s will: to draw us, fragile vessels, into His work and ministry and to involve us in it.
