We drove all the way to Drayton Manor expecting one thing and left talking about something completely different. For our very first visit to Drayton Manor we took on everything from Gold Rush and The Wave to Loki, Thomas Land and even the zoo. With walk-on queues across the park, it gave us the perfect chance to see whether this family favourite really deserves the praise it gets from enthusiasts. Gold Rush completely caught us off guard, The Wave left us feeling a little flat, and Loki might have just become one of our favourite flat rides anywhere in the UK. We also checked out Vikings, Thomas Land, the zoo and discovered a few things first-time visitors should know before making the trip.
