Bears Ears: Ancient Ruins of Mule Canyon

SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/lifeofluke Mule Canyon is famous for the 'House on Fire' ruins, but there also more if you keep going up the canyon. Several granaries await, one very beautiful ruin but very hard to reach, and past that, 'Big Ruin' on a sizeable ledge soaking up the western sun, under a large overhang with streaks. Ancient artifacts like pottery shards and evidence of corn storage (just don't touch or remove anything!) rest in these sites. I muse over the building details like wooden pegs/hooks to hang things in the wall, and the merits of building homes on high up, hard to reach ledges.
