Join Kokone:    / @心音助産院   Welcome to this helpful course on easy birth taught by Shin Kasahara, a midwife with 28 years of clinical experience. I've heard comments like, "My body feels lighter!" and "I did this between contractions and progressed better!" This is probably the most recommended exercise for preparing your body for easy birth. It'll really refresh your lower back. Do it at a pace that makes you wonder if it's okay to do it so slowly, avoid using momentum, stretch your arms, and focus primarily on the back muscles, not the front thighs. Repeat 3-5 times. Do as many as you can comfortably. *If you've been on bed rest for a while and haven't been exercising much, don't try too hard. Everyone's body's limits are different.
