Sony RX1R III vs Leica Q3 vs Fuji GFX100RF | Smallest POWERHOUSE

In this video I finally do the sensor testing a lot of people asked for, namely, testing the new Sony RX1R III sensor against the Leica Q3 28, Leica Q3 43 and Fuji GFX100RF. I refined my testing approach from my previous video where I tested the Fuji GFX100RF against the two Leica Q3 cameras and included now the Sony RX1R III in its peer group of compact cameras. The results are very interesting: it turns out that the Sony RX1R III can be considered "best in class" among full frame and medium format sensor compact cameras. Despite its smallest size in its peer group, the performance of its sensor is amazing! Important to note here: all four cameras have fixed mounted lenses so you always get them as a camera-lens combo, no other lens choices possible. And every image coming out of camera always is driven by both, sensor performance and lens performance. Second, every image coming out of camera is besides hardware (sensor and lens) also always driven by camera internal signal processing and calibrations embedded in its firmware. As a side remark, I will of course do similar testing with the new Hasselblad X2D II and see what I find. The peer camera of the Hasselblad X2D II is of course the Fuji GFX100 II so the battle between these two medium format system camera is already scheduled :) If you like my content, please subscribe and support my work, many thanks!
