Środek symetrii figury - Matematyka Szkoła Podstawowa i Gimnazjum

In this video, I explain what the center of symmetry of a figure is, teach how to recognize centrally symmetric figures, and present the conditions a figure must satisfy to have a center of symmetry. I explain that the center of symmetry is a point such that every point of the figure has a corresponding point on the opposite side at the same distance. I show examples of figures that have a center of symmetry, such as the square, rhombus, parallelogram, regular hexagon, and the letters S and I, as well as examples of figures that are not centrally symmetric, such as the equilateral triangle, the letter T, and the pentagon. I discuss two necessary conditions for recognizing a centrally symmetric figure: the diagonals intersecting in exactly one point and at their midpoints, and the requirement that polygons have an even number of sides. Finally, I analyze the case of trapezoids and explain why they typically do not meet the conditions for central symmetry. Contents: 1. Review of point symmetry 2.
