It's a rocky journey, but the breathtaking views and exciting eruptions make it all worth it. But be warned, this is no ordinary hike. Walking along the razor edge around the crater of the volcano will have your heart racing with fear and awe. With an extreamly steep drop into the volcano on one side and a sharp lava rock cliff on the other, this is a challenge like no other. As the sun sets and we leave the volcano, the real test begins. The path is filled with acrid volcano gasses, making it almost impossible to see or breathe. This is easily the scariest experience any of us have ever had, but also the most unforgettable.
