Ambrym Volcano's Lava Lakes: A decade of fiery Geology

In the heart of the South Pacific, nestled amidst the Vanuatu archipelago, lies the island of Ambrym. This volcanic wonderland is home to multiple lava lakes that have captivated adventurers and scientists alike. For the past decade, I've visited Vanuatu on 15 expeditions to document, study and capture the volcano. In 2018, an eruption brought about the destruction of the famed lava lakes. This video covers the past decade of Ambrym's fiery geology and looks forward to what the future may bring.
