PPP | ¿Hay razas de perros peligrosas por naturaleza? 🐕⚠️😨
11:08 AM: In Question of the Week, we answer "Is it possible for a cat to get leukemia even if it's vaccinated?" ________________________________________ Potentially dangerous dogs, or PDDs, are dog breeds that some legislation (depending on the country) determines to be especially dangerous. Some dogs are considered to have physical attributes that predispose them to be dangerous: large jaws, speed, resistance to pain, aggressiveness, tenacity, large size, and a quick response to commands. To name just a few. Indeed, we can't deny that some dogs are more imposing than others, such as the Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Argentine Dogo, or the Akita Inu. Are they inherently aggressive and dangerous? In this video, we try to unravel this thorny issue a little. The crux of the matter doesn't lie in the dogs themselves, but in the way certain breeds are used. Many of these dogs are trained to be aggressive. And this has created a widespread idea that it's the breed's fault. But most people ignore the blame on the people behind the dogs. Those humans make money from fighting and gambling. However, we have an irrational fear of certain breeds. And we're unable to separate the two ideas. These dog breeds can be just as adorable as any other; you just have to give them a chance. As a result, the rejection suffered by certain breeds considered PPP is seen in parks and streets, as they don't usually interact with dogs of other breeds. The fear suffered by owners of non-PPP breeds causes them to keep their dogs away from these breeds and not want them to play together. Owners of PPP breed dogs, for their part, are aware of the rejection their pets generate and try to walk them at other times when they won't be able to meet their dogs. Therefore, we add to this problem the fact that if a dog doesn't learn to interact with others and is kept isolated, it won't learn to socialize or trust others. And all of this means that many families are reluctant to adopt dogs considered PPP. This is a problem, as many abandoned dogs don't get a second chance. But, we repeat, it's not the fault of a breed; if we learn to see them differently and change our perception of them a little, integration would be much easier. In this video, you'll also learn the story of Clem, a four-month-old American Staffordshire puppy who has just been adopted by Vicky. She also shares a home with Bruno, a dog who is teaching Clem to behave and obey Vicky's commands. This family is a clear example that these breeds can act and live together as a family like any other. Clem was rescued from the street by Adopta Mestizos.
