Until 2018, the MOLY GREEN brand belonged to the Japanese company Pulster Co., Ltd, but on October 1, 2018, Pulster Co., Ltd and Cores International Co., Ltd were merged into a new company "CAP Style (CAP Style)". Both companies - Pulster and Cores International were subsidiaries of the AUTOBACS corporation - which I talked about in my previous video. Now the MOLY GREEN brand belongs to the Japanese company CAP Style CO., LTD TAU Corporation - How does it relate to the MOLY GREEN brand - those who are in the know know what kind of company it is and what it has been doing since 1996. For the rest, in short, they export used cars and construction equipment from Japan. A lot of cars and construction equipment. And while it was legal, they exported the bulk of OEM Oils to Russia. After this whole story with brand protection and subsequent sanctions on the export of OEM products from Japan to Russia, the company was forced to switch to exporting other brands, fortunately there are quite a lot of them. These are the well-known TAKUMI (about which we have a video on the channel) and the same MOLY GREEN and some others. In short, according to my information, TAU is responsible for the logistics component. CAP Style (https://www.cap-style.co.jp/) - the company that is currently the brand holder of the MOLY GREEN brand is a typical wholesale structure and does not manufacture anything in Japan. They sell automotive oils of the MOLY GREEN, ZIC brands and lubricants for agricultural machinery under the GENT'S brand, as well as additives to SINN motor oil. They also make (mainly in China) a couple of brands of accessories for cars under their own brand CAPStyle and for motorcycles under the STAR ARROW brand. 2. Is the MOLY GREEN brand known in Japan and how popular is it there. Are MOLY GREEN products sold in Japan and where? Of course, primarily in the AUTOBACS network, since CAP Style is a subsidiary of this structure. In addition, the brand is present in the Internet space, but in very small quantities. Scarcely. But this is understandable. Moly Green is a network brand and is widely represented only in its own network. But considering that the AUTOBACS network is the largest aftermarket network in Japan, in general, it still sells little by little. 3. Which factories produce oils, lubricants and chemicals for the Moly Green brand in Japan. Now to the most important question for me and for you - which factories make the MOLY GREEN brand for CAP Style? These are several blending enterprises in Japan: CHUGAI YUKAGAKU KOGYO (almost the entire line), COSMO OIL LUBRICANTS CO., LTD., IDEMITSU Cosan - what CHUGAI cannot do. And also: ETHYLENE CHEMICAL Co., Ltd. (brake fluids), ROOT　SANGYO K.K. (additives for motor oil), DAITO CO., LTD (automotive chemicals, cleaners). 4. My opinion about the Moly Green brand. Moly Green is sold steadily in Russia, but not very much. There are several reasons for this, including the insufficiently aggressive marketing policy of the importing company and the fairly high cost of the product (this is due to the fact that MOLY GREEN is actually produced in Japan and, accordingly, exported from there to Russia.) 5. Results. Moly Green Product from Japan. Sold there in small quantities. Made to order for a large chain. Products of the mid-price segment (with the exception of the new line - Perfect). Unlike many Label brands, it is produced not only for Russia but also for the domestic Japanese market. I will add that we have been trading the MOLY GREEN brand for five years now, and have not received a single negative review about this oil.
