Misty woodland walk. Brew using the BCB folding stove.

Another outing to the woods for a coffee and a walk. The early mist was amazing and gave the woods a rather creepy and eerie feel. I used my BCB folding stove and gel fuel for a brew, which worked really well as there was little wind. The sunlight was stabbing through the gaps in the canopy and the place had a rather magical feel to it... apart from the distant sound of a chainsaw! I stayed out for an hour and had a wander about where I discovered evidence of people camping up at this point. There were used fires, pots, utensils and general rubbish about. I took what I could but there were some items that I just wouldn't touch. The stove worked really well, considering I picked it up for a few quid although I guess that it's a military-grade stove that has been tried and tested by the best over the years. Again, another quiet stove like the alcohol burners, which I'm a big fan of and was perfect in the beautiful setting. I was trying out the new external microphone that I purchased from Rode the other day. It's the video micro and is a good bit of kit for the price. I wanted to have a bit more control and power (when needed) in my audio so fingers crossed this is a good solution. You will notice that my tripod features a few times in the video - I thought about cropping in to remove it but no one needs my massive head on the big screen and actually, I'm trying to make things as simple as possible and if the odd bit of kit gets in the shot then it's not the end of the world. The walking footage seemed a little unstable - which is never normally a problem with the GoPro so I will check my settings and see if I can fix that for next time. Apologies, if it was distracting.
