The state of the metalworking industry was analyzed at the Regional Assembly of the Fiom-CGIL Rome and Lazio. Various union representatives addressed the issues related to their own companies or local areas. Opening the meeting was Luigi D'Antonio, the General Secretary of the Fiom-CGIL Rome and Lazio, who explained how the increase in hours of redundancy payments in recent years is a very worrying sign for the metalworking sector and how Italy is also losing industrial sovereignty.
