Quando a vida te fere no caminho, Jesus vem restaurar sua alma | Pastor Paulo Seabra
My brothers and sisters, the Word of the Lord comes to us as revelation, guidance, and a living sword, capable of penetrating the deepest parts of the soul and discerning the intentions of the heart. It is not merely to be read or known, but to be applied in daily life, instructing, correcting, guiding, and bringing to light what is often hidden within us. It is through it that God reveals our inner selves and leads us to His purpose, which is good, perfect, and pleasing. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus shows us a man wounded on the road, assaulted, robbed, and left almost dead by the roadside. A priest and a Levite passed by, men connected to religion, knowledge, and service, but both continued on without intervening. Then came a Samaritan, someone who, in the eyes of the Jews, would seem unlikely to act that way, but it was precisely he who saw, felt compassion, approached, cared for the wounds, placed the man on his own animal, took him to an inn, and took responsibility for his restoration. This word makes us look at our own journey, because we are all on a road, building a story before God. Along this journey, many have been wounded, assaulted in their souls, robbed of their joy, hurt in their relationships, struck in their dreams, in their families, in their minds, in their faith. There are pains that don't appear on the outside, but are open inside; and often we pass close to such people without realizing it, at home, in church, at work, in our own families. Therefore, Jesus' call is clear: not only to ask who our neighbor is, but to become neighbors, using mercy. The Good Samaritan points to Christ, the one announced in Isaiah 53, a man of sorrows, wounded for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. Jesus is the one who bends down to us on the road, tends to our wounds with his blood, restores our souls and leads us to the Lord's inn, which is his church, a place of care, intercession, healing and restoration. And the church, as the house of God, is called to welcome the wounded, sustain the weary, pray for the afflicted, and announce that the Lord will return, settle all debts, and take His people to the Father's house. WOUNDED ON THE WAY, RESTORED BY JESUS Jesus Restores the Wounded Soul When Life Wounds, Jesus Heals Jesus Heals the Wounded on the Way The Wounded Soul Finds Jesus Wounded on the Way, Healed by Christ Jesus Comes to Heal Your Soul Christ Restores the Wounded Jesus' Healing for the Wounded Soul On the Path of Pain, Jesus Restores Wounds of Life, Jesus' Healing Jesus Stops to Heal You Pastor Paulo Seabra is an experienced pastor both in church management and in preaching and teaching.
