Artyom wakes up in a friendly communist welcome center, also known as “interrogation but make it spicy.” We get punched, threatened, and politely asked to spill secrets we don’t even have. Classic day in the metro. After a quick vent crawl like a professional rat, we escape into tunnels full of guards, bugs, and my questionable decision making. Stealth is attempted, abandoned, then attempted again after dying five times. Turns out shooting everyone isn’t always the best plan. Who knew. We mess with air guns, forget how gas masks work, crash the game by playing too well, and somehow end up helping civilians while still almost getting them killed. Productive. Also, spiders.
