Mount Saint Helens Summer SOTA with ND7Y and N7LFO | Summits on the Air

ND7Y Scored some permits for a hike up Mount Saint Helens. This was my first time doing the summer route along Monitor Ridge. Very cool to see the mountain a different way. This hike is about 2 miles shorter compared to the winter route. After hitting the crater rim, it was about a half mile hike to the Activation Zone and True Summit. On summit we made a plethora of 2m contacts (20 total) and then setup HF where I got another 17 contacts on SSB and CW. Thank you chasers for making this a memorable outing!
