EP2: Can we fix a trashed Staples SPL-TXC18A Shredder? Throwaway Society EP2

In this video, we have the Staples SPL-TXC18A Trash find and we attempt to repair it into working condition without putting any money into it. The Shredder was found in the trash and does not turn on, it's dead, let's see what we can do, saving the landfill one broken item at a time. TO REMOVE THE TOP COVER: There are a total of 11 screws that hold the cover on, even with the screws removed, it may require pulling up on it with some force or using a screwdriver or other tool to get in between the seam all around the cover to snap it off.
