Homemade Falernum Liqueur

Falernum is a spiced citrus liqueur thought to have originated in the late 1800's. Its rise to popularity though began in the 1930's during the original boom of tiki, led by Donn the Beachcomber. Instead of using the widely available John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum which hails from R.L. Seale in Barbados, we decided to make our own homemade falernum in this episode and taste the two side by side in a Corn and Oil cocktail. The results were pretty dope! ! ! Enjoy alcohol education?
