Silica Cove Jervis Bay 2025 — Shipwreck, Moray Eels & a 4 m Bull Shark Encounter!

We hiked all the way down to Silica Cove, carrying rods, spearfishing gear, and cameras for what was meant to be a chill fishing mission. The track was steep, the gear was heavy, and by the time we hit the bottom, we were already wrecked — only to find an old shipwreck washed up on the rocks right on the shoreline. My mates jumped in for some spearfishing while I cast from shore, but things got wild fast when a 4-metre bull shark appeared and chased my mate out of the water. Meanwhile, a couple of moray eels moved in and started stealing our bait. No fish caught this time, but it turned into one of the craziest and most memorable trips yet.
