KOMPAS.TV – The police have named former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, a suspect in an alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) case related to the handling of the Asabri, PLN coal, and Krakatau Steel cases. In addition to Febrie, the police have also named another suspect from the private sector. The Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipidkor) of the Indonesian National Police subsequently transferred the case to the Attorney General's Office. During the investigation, police conducted searches at 13 locations and seized evidence in the form of Rp 476 billion in cash and 74 kilograms of gold bullion. Former Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) from 2011–2015, Abraham Samad, believes that the application of the money laundering law has the potential to reveal the parties suspected of involvement and their roles in the case.
