DPS Traffic Stop Leads to Human Smuggling Arrest (09.14.2022)
A DPS Trooper discovered 10 illegal immigrants being smuggled into the United States during a traffic stop on Sept. 14, in Del Rio. The Trooper stopped a box truck for a traffic violation along Hwy 77. During the stop, they discovered the illegal immigrants inside the truck. The driver was charged with smuggling of persons and all 10 illegal immigrants were referred to USBP.
