Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapeut werden: Masterstudium und Approbation zum KJP mit SIMKI

Anyone who dreams of helping children and adolescents as a psychotherapist will find a reliable training partner in SIMKI. Those who have already completed a social work bachelor's degree, such as in Social Work or Social Pedagogy, can not only complete their training for licensure as a child and adolescent psychotherapist here, but also combine it directly with the accredited master's program "Therapeutically Oriented Social Work with Children and Adolescents." Our goal is to provide practical and patient-centered instruction in fundamental knowledge of scientifically sound and recognized psychotherapeutic methods, as well as in-depth training in the evidence-based methods of psychodynamic psychotherapy or cognitive behavioral therapy. The training is based on the German Psychotherapy Act (PsychThG) and the German Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training and Examination Regulations (KJPsychTh-APrV). Participants will acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities to independently and autonomously conduct diagnostics, therapy, and rehabilitation for clinically significant disorders in children and adolescents.
