Reportage: Ein Tag in der Kinder- und Jugendpsychiatrie

The staff at "Villa Palletti" in Flensburg help children and adolescents. During a semi-inpatient stay, they treat the young patients' mental illnesses. We were able to spend a day with our camera and interview the staff. "Villa Paletti" is the Diako specialist clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatics, and psychotherapy. The young patients come to the building on Marienhölzungsweg every day, Monday through Friday, for many weeks. They suffer from conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, or ADHD. Not all of the children in this film are shown clearly to protect them. The stigma surrounding mental illness still exists, yet so many are affected. What might the path to recovery look like?
