Her beauty remains legendary, as do her admirers, including King Leopold II of Belgium, an adventure he recounts in his memoirs. She posed for the sculptor Alexandre Falguière, the painters Manuel Benedito, Giovanni Boldini, Edgar Degas, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and the photographers Paul Nadar and Léopold-Émile Reutlinger.
