Sertão profundo – Ocupação Elomar (2015)
Partner and musician Xangai affirms that nobody sings about the backlands of the Caatinga region like Elomar, who lives in the countryside and, despite his level of erudition and study, manages to turn his gaze to the reality of the backlands. Xangai recites the verses of the song "Cantiga do Estradar" and, with the musicians, performs the song "A Pergunta". Testimony recorded for the Elomar Occupation, in June 2015, in São Paulo/SP. The 25th edition of the Itaú Cultural Occupation program invites the public to enter a space of contemplation and let themselves be carried away by the enchantments of the deep backlands. The exhibition is free and can be visited from July 18th to August 23rd, 2015.
