Forging process for Yanagiba, Deba and Usuba
It starts on putting together iron and steel. The long stick is iron and a small piece of the metal is the steel. The iron and the steel put together by weld powder with heat 1000 Centigrade. After heat up to 1000 Centigrade, it has to pounding by the hammer quickly, and then it is going to make the shape of the blade, and then the extra amount of the iron is cut off, and then the blade heat up again, and to make the handle side (Nakago) of the shape by the hammer.
