【α7 V & F2ズーム】フルサイズの「基準」が変わった日。カメラグランプリ2026での歴史的二冠が証明する、ソニーを使う本当の楽しさ。

For my annual photo shoot of baby foxes, I brought out Sony equipment that achieved a historic double victory at the Camera Grand Prix 2026. These are the "α7 V," which won the Grand Prize, and the "FE 50-150mm F2 GM," which won the Lens Award. As I pressed the shutter button on my subjects in the lush green forest, I realized that the "Basic" (basic performance as a standard model) of cameras has been updated to an entirely new dimension. Continuous shooting, which used to be 10 frames per second, has now reached a maximum of approximately 30 frames per second with blackout-free operation. Furthermore, it features real-time recognition AF utilizing AI to reliably capture the subject's bone structure and eyes. The overwhelming performance that was previously only permitted to flagship models is now entrusted to us as the "new standard (Basic)" for full-frame cameras. This award proves more than just high catalog specifications. Thanks to the latest technology in cameras and lenses, which handles "noise" such as focusing issues, we are freed from the constraints of expression and can purely confront the light and life before us. I'd like to explore the evolution of equipment that brings about the experience of truly enjoying photography, and why I continue to use Sony, using examples.
