In this video, part of a series of recipes for Sunday lunch, I teach you how to make a delicious three-sauce lasagna, with Bolognese sauce, béchamel sauce, and pesto sauce. Learn about Caputo's School: https://bit.ly/edc-you Ingredients: For the Bolognese sauce: Recipe here on the YouTube channel (dream Bolognese); 300g of pre-made lasagna sheets; 150g of coarsely grated mozzarella cheese; 100g finely grated Parmesan cheese; For the béchamel sauce: 1 liter of warm milk; 50g of wheat flour; 50g of butter; 100g of finely grated Parmesan cheese; Nutmeg to taste; 1 bay leaf; Salt and pepper to taste; For the pesto: 100g of extra virgin olive oil; 1/3 cup of basil leaves; 1 tablespoon of finely grated Parmesan cheese; 2 cloves of cooked garlic; 50g of cashew nuts or Brazil nuts or walnuts; Juice of ½ a Sicilian or Tahiti lemon; Salt and pepper to taste; Preparation method: For the béchamel sauce: 1. In a saucepan over medium/low heat, add the butter and flour, stirring constantly with a whisk until well combined and toasted. 2. Gradually add the warm milk, stirring constantly. 3. Season with salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and bay leaf. Mix well. 4. Add the Parmesan cheese and mix until thickened. (He forgot to add the cheese in the video). 5. Note: Remove and discard the bay leaf. 6. For the pesto: In a blender or food processor, combine the olive oil, basil, garlic cloves, cheese, nuts, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth. 7. Assembly: 8. In an oven-safe serving dish, add a little béchamel sauce and a little Bolognese sauce to the bottom (ideally, the sauces should be at room temperature), mixing and combining them. 9. Add a layer of lasagna noodles. 10. Then add more Bolognese sauce, more béchamel sauce, and a little pesto sauce, mixing the sauces together. 11. Top with some grated mozzarella cheese and some Parmesan cheese, mixing them together. 12. Continue layering until you finish with the sauces and finally the cheeses. 13. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius until golden brown and bubbly. 14. Remove from the oven and serve. 15. Enjoy!
