The End of the World As We Know It. (NON SPOILER REVIEW)

So, apparently the world’s ended again, only this time we’ve got thirty-plus authors to walk us through the wreckage. The End of the World As We Know It: Tales of Stephen King’s The Stand is a brand new anthology edited by Christopher Golden and Brian Keene, packed with stories that revisit King’s apocalyptic universe from all sorts of angles. Some are emotional. Some are brutal. Some feel like they could’ve come straight out of King’s own notebook. In this video, I’m breaking down what this collection gets right, where it stumbles, and which stories genuinely stuck with me long after I closed the book. I’ll also talk a bit about who I think this anthology is really for, because depending on how attached you are to The Stand, that answer might surprise you. It’s mostly spoiler free, so if you haven’t read it yet, you’re safe. Just bring a drink, settle in, and let’s talk about what happens when the world ends again. Lift your cup. The apocalypse awaits.
