Add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic, 1 and a third cups of finely chopped onion, one third of a cup of finely chopped green bell pepper, 1 teaspoon of finely chopped chili pepper, 1 tablespoon of finely chopped cilantro stems and sauté until it begins to brown for about 5 minutes. Combine 1 cup of cooked and shredded dried beef, 250 grams of green beans, 1 bay leaf, and 1.2 liters of the water used to cook the dried beef. Lower the heat, cover the pot, and cook for approximately 25 minutes, or until the beans are cooked but still 'al dente'. Melt half a tablespoon of clarified butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and brown 1 and a half cups of cooked dried beef cut into medium cubes. Set aside.
