Test Fantic Stealth 125: la nuova naked made in Italy! || La prova di Moto.it

Fantic unveiled four new motorcycles at the end of 2024. The faired Imola, in both 125 and 460cc versions, and the naked Stealth, in the same displacements. We managed to get our hands on the smaller, unfaired version of the two, and this is our test. But that's not all. We had the honor and pleasure of hosting Stefano Borsi, the engineer who oversaw the creation and development of this motorcycle, or rather, this platform that forms the basis of the four aforementioned bikes, in our studio. The small 125 is narrow between the legs, thanks to a fuel tank whose dimensions and shape resemble that of a Moto 2, and is very agile through the curves thanks to its low weight. The 125cc engine, designed by Motori Minarelli, features electronic fuel injection, four valves, variable valve timing (VVA), six gears, and an assist-and-slipper clutch. A truly impressive package for such a small-displacement engine. Power is 15 horsepower, the limit allowed by the regulations governing an A1 license. Since we're talking about a license, the Stealth 125 certainly appeals to the sixteen-year-old, but thanks to the size and shape shared with its bigger sister, the 460, it could also be the choice for adults who are new to two-wheeled riding or, for a thousand reasons, don't want to obtain an additional license to ride a larger-displacement motorcycle. ABS is available, which can be disabled at the rear, and a cornering brake is available as an option, crucial for road use. The instrument panel is large, highly visible, and easy to read. The 5-inch TFT display is positioned precisely where you don't have to take your eyes off the road. The headlights, as well as the turn signals, are LED. The taillight is beautiful, in pure F1 style. The exhaust, also inspired by racing, is reminiscent of a Moto2 model. This Fantic Stealth 125 is priced at €5,490.00 and is already available at Fantic dealerships.
