Until recently, I wouldn't have thought that today, December 14, 2024, I'd find myself on the highway for the first time aboard a 125cc motorcycle. To comply with the amendment to Article 175 of the Highway Code, I grabbed the handlebars of a Yamaha XSR 125 and rode the route I would normally take from my home, about thirty kilometers from the center of Milan, to the Moto.it office. Leaving aside the city, in this video I'll show you and recount my experience—or rather, this debut—and also explain why I chose to do it with a motorcycle like this.
