De-Malled Mall—McDade Mall—Now Strip Mall—Road Signage, Mall Corridor, & Kmart Left Behind—Holmes PA
McDade Mall opened in 1969, stores included fashion bug, there was an Eric Theater, ACME Markets, & Woolco as anchor stores. Eric became united artist at some point. and in the 80s Woolco became Kmart. there was just a tiny little hallway left of the once beautiful mall and a strip mall with normal big box stores. The wall had fun aesthetics on the ceiling, benches, and trees. You can see that in photos and videos online. The gate in Kmart is where the mall entrance was and the big sign with the Kmart logo is still up.
