Compared to traditional spectrum analyzers and stand-alone signal generators, this PNA-X network analyzer can make much faster measurements. The PNA-X comes with a fast spur search capability of up to 500 times over a broad frequency range, replacing the spectrum analyzer and switch matrix. A narrow frequency sweep is performed to analyze gain and group delay, and a wider frequency sweep for stopband performance. The noise figure window detects the presence of spurious signals, which can be determined with the help of the ‘Marker - SA’ feature.
