Lapland off the Beaten Track: Arjeplogsfjäll + Southern Sarek (16 Days)

Join me on my solo adventure in Swedish Lapland. I hike from Jäkkvik to Kvikkjokk through Arjeplogsfjäll and via the southern edge of Sarek. Much of the route is off-trail and some sections are fairly strenuous. The landscape is striking and the weather unpredictable - both as expected ;-). I use a packraft occasionally; all crossings except the lake Bartávvre are optional but may take extra time or effort if done without a boat. On this route resupply is impossible. I was fully self-sufficient. It is disallowed in the entire national park. When I used the boat to follow Njoatsosjåhkå for a few hundred meters to avoid searching for a safe place to cross I was not aware of this. I remembered a past regulation that paddling was only prohibited on part of the Rapa river (downstream from the Sarvesjåhkå confluence). I apologize for this!
