The Psychology and Neuroscience of Yoga - The Mind-Body Connection
Developing a mind-body connection improves our mental health and well-being by influencing our present moment awareness, our sense of agency, and our emotional intelligence. I talk about the neuroscience and psychology associated with developing interoceptive awareness (i.e., a mind-body connection) during a yoga practice and how this supports these psychological processes.
