Monuments by Moonlight and Exploring Union Market || Washington DC Travel Day One

Hello and Hi! Summer is in session which means it's time to travel again and we made our way down to DC for Warped Tour and more patriotic festivities. Last year it was my first time visiting solo but this year I'm happy to have a partner be joining me for his first time. For our travel day we checked into the Kimpton George Hotel again, did a quick run over to the Union Market and indulged in the true tourist activity of doing a trolley tour of the monuments. We got to see the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and so much more. Let's be patriotic and kick off America's 250th Anniversary in the punk rock hippie liberal way it should be celebrated.
