Join me on my adventure into the deep bush where I dug out my survival shelter and put my bushcraft skills to the test. Using all the tools I had on hand and everything I could find around me to make this survival shelter a complete, warm and secure place to stay in. Hunting Sambar deer in the Victorian high country and connecting with nature is my most favorite and rewarding thing I love doing. Sambar deer are known as ghosts of the Australian bush especially here in Victoria so being able to hunt them is an experience that we hold very dearly to our hearts and are very passionate about. We plan on doing many trips back to this shelter to improve it. Spending days on end alone out in the bush, surviving amongst nature were it is peaceful and we can watch the wildlife walk right past our front door.
