6L80E/6L90E TCC Shudder Fix? - Could This Be The Answer To The Shudder Headache?
After studying the hydraulic diagram of this units I decided to try and make this modification to engage TCC as if it would be an on/off type of engagement. I understand that further testing might be needed and that maybe one of the companies like Transgo, Superior or Sonnax can come up with something similar. Even if it's not on/off but to regulate slippage better than what it is for now. Torque converter companies also need to get together with their clutch suppliers to try and design a better clutch material or any more upgrades to the internal components if the torque converter.
