On 19 May 2025 at 6:30 AM, I stood once again on the summit of Mount Everest (8,848.86m) My fifth successful ascent after a gap of two years. This climb was extra special because I guided my first personal client, Van Jung Truong (Hanns) from Denmark. He not only trusted me to lead him on this challenging journey, but also supported me like a senior brother, making our expedition a true partnership. I am deeply grateful for his trust and companionship. The Spring 2025 season on Everest was extremely challenging. High winds limited summit success to only about 70% of expedition teams. On top of that, most climbers suffered from common cold, losing their voices; I even lost mine while on the summit. I also experienced a severe headache at Camp 2 during the summit push, which made the climb especially demanding, and I used supplemental oxygen from Camp 2 to safely reach the top. To date, I have successfully climbed 22x 8000-meter peaks along with many other Himalayan summits. Each expedition has taught me lessons of endurance, teamwork, and respect for the mountains. With this Everest climb, I also begin a new chapter as I launch my own guiding company, offering mountaineering expeditions and trekking adventures in Nepal. 🙏 A huge thank you to all my subscribers and viewers for your love and support.
