I Tried Nepal’s Most Extreme Flight 🇳🇵

In this video I’m taking on two of Pokhara’s most thrilling adventures in a single day. The day begins in Pokhara, where I’m picked up by the team at Pokhara Ultralight and taken to the airport for an experience I’ve been looking forward to for a long time: an ultralight flight high above the Himalayas. After a safety briefing and wrapping up in some warmer clothes, it’s time to take to the skies in a tiny open-air aircraft with nothing but me, the pilot, and some of the most spectacular scenery Nepal has to offer. With perfect weather and crystal-clear views, we soar above Pokhara, Phewa Lake, and the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. Unfortunately, the wind had other plans for my microphone and blew it clean off during the flight, so some of the commentary didn’t survive the journey! Next, I head to what is claimed to be the world’s steepest zipline, featuring a jaw-dropping 600-metre vertical drop. I’ll be honest, I was far more nervous for this than I expected. To finish off the day, I slow things down with a trip onto Phewa Lake, visiting the famous island temple before enjoying a cold beer and watching the sunset over Pokhara.
