Ashley Benefield's neighbor, John Sant, took the stand on Tuesday afternoon where he recalled the shocking moment Benefield was found banging on his door and explained that Ashley’s husband, Doug Benefield, attacked her. The 911 call was played for the jury where Ashley Benefield was heard hysterical, while Sant is heard trying to calm her down. She was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
