Women in Islam and a Fair God – some reflections - Sitara Akram 08
In this short video, I set out why it is important for us to understand the discourses about Muslim women. I point out the logical fallacy committed by traditionalists who insist that God is fair whilst conceptualising God as a Creator and Lawgiver with a gender bias. I briefly share my journey and set out the questions that motivated me to learn more about Islam and the topics pertaining to women that I will be talking about in future.
