TRYST IN TIME by Catherine Moore (as C. L. Moore)
An unlikely friendship between young adventurer and old scientist results in space-time exploration where our hero finds the chance to focus his search for that unnameable something that's always haunted him...and finds its name. Originally published in the December 1936 issue of Astounding Stories magazine, and re-published in Isaac Asimov's anthology called Tales of the Occult in 1989. Some inclusions in collections of the author's stories are: The Best of C. L. Moore in 1975, a German one in 1982, Shambleau in 1990, and an Italian one in 1991. Read by Darrell T.
