Birthday celebration turns deadly: Two shot dead after gunfire erupts at Siparia gathering A birthday celebration in Siparia ended in tragedy early Friday morning after gunfire erupted at Taylor Avenue, Quinam Road, leaving two men dead. The victims were shot around 2:30 a.m. on June 19, 2026, after police responded to reports of a shooting in the area. One of the deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Osei Packett, also known as “Danqua”, of Taylor Avenue. The second victim remains unidentified but was found with several tattoos on his body, including one bearing the name “Joshua”. Police officers who arrived at the scene discovered both men unresponsive with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the location. I.A.N News understands several people were gathered at a birthday event when a verbal dispute broke out. During the confrontation, one man allegedly pulled out a firearm and opened fire, causing people at the gathering to scatter. After the shooting stopped, Packett and the other man were found dead.
