Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) is an automatic routing protocol (Dynamic Routing) that is able to maintain, organize and distribute routing information between networks dynamically following any network changes. On an OSPF network, the process of determining the path will see the value of the OSPF matrix. The default will select the path that has the smallest / shortest matrix OSPF value or it can also be interpreted as a priority path. This Matrix OSPF value uses the parameter "Cost".
