CARA MEMILIH QUEUE TYPES MIKROTIK - QOS [ENG SUB]

There are 4 Queue Type Types available at this time: 1. FIFO (First In First Out) FIFO is divided into 3 types, namely BFIFO, PFIFO, MQ-FIFO Where PFIFO will measure based on packet, while BFIFO will measure based on bytes. Coming orders will always be maintained, packets that are queued will enter into the buffer. If the buffer is full, the packet will be dropped. The limit parameter to determine the number (packets / bytes) that can be buffered. The greater the value used, the greater the RAM usage. While this MQ-FIFO can only be used on devices that support multicore processors. The Ethernet that is used must support multi transmit queues. 2. SFQ (Stochastic Fairness Queuing) SFQ is more used to balance existing traffic. This type uses a round robin algorithm. Traffic will be identified using 4 ways, namely src-add, dst-add, src-port, etc-port. These parameters are used by the SFQ hashing algorithm to be grouped into one of the 1024 substrates. The parameters used in the SFQ are 2, namely "perturb" and "allot" Allot is the amount of data in bytes that can be sent in 1 round robin Perturb is how often the hash must be refreshed   3. PCQ (Per Connection Queue) This type is a refinement of SFQ which can only load 1024 Substreams. PCQ does not have a limit on how many sub-queues. This will depend on the hardware specifications of each device. The more sub-queues are made, the higher RAM storage is needed. If SFQ will use 4 clasifiers (src-add, dst-add, src-port, etc), PCQ can determine whether you want to use one of the classifiers (eg src-add only). 4. RED (Random Early Detect) RED type is almost the same as FIFO, but this type will throw data packets before the buffer is full. RED uses a mechanism to avoid a queue buildup that is calculating based on the average. RED uses 2 thresholds, namely minimum and maximum. If it is below the minimum threshold, the packet is not discarded. If it is above the maximum threshold, new packets that come will be discarded.
