Yoga Exercise for Beginners - Classical Maha Mudra - Strengthens Abdominal Muscles

PRESENTED BY: DR.ANANDA BALAYOGI BHAVANANI OF ANANDA ASHRAM ICYER PONDICHERRY Classical Maha Mudra - Steps Sit on the ground with your legs extended in front and your hands by the side of your body. Bend your left leg and press your left heel into the perineum while keeping the right legs stretched out in front. Use the thumb and the fingers of both hands to grasp the toe of the outstretched right foot. Keep your torso extended and take a deep breathe. Keep your torso extended and take a deep breathe. Push your chin forward into mayura mudra and then apply jalandhara bandha at the end of the inhalation. Hold your breathe and mudra as long as comfortable. When ready slowly release the jalandhara bandha and perform a slow and steady exhalation. Release your hands and feet in a phased manner and back to the original position.
