Linked thrust systems: constructing a branch line map

Part of the Shear Zone Channel. In thrust belts, pairs of thrust faults can join as part of a web of linked faults to define fault-bounded slices (or thrust sheets). These thrust-to-thrusts joins are called branch lines. Branch line maps are important for displaying and understanding the 3D structure of thrust systems - and this video goes through how they can be constructed (and checked!).
