I have been arguing about the Shroobs and Dimentio for literally years in the comments section of that old video. Please... Also slight fact check, Mario did not in fact die in the opening of Paper Mario 64, he was only 'gravely injured' which I assume means he would've died shortly after had the star spirits not intervened. But my point still stands that dying and coming back with 1ups or life shrooms is a common thing in Mario games, Mario getting killed has never really been much of a big deal when resurrection fungi exist.
