Bowser - STILL Gaming's GREATEST Villain!

Designing For is a series which looks at one specific level, character, or idea in gaming and breaks down the central theme to that element to figure out what it's, well, designing for! In this episode, we extensively break down the history of perhaps the most famous baddie in all of video games, King Bowser Koopa. We tackle all of his appearances, from platformers to RPG's to spin-offs to adaptations, and see how his hundreds of appearances have contributed to the aura of one of gaming's most truly iconic characters, as well as put forth an argument for how that ends up making him the greatest villain the medium's ever had.
